Outdoor advertising is a distinct medium and your message is extremely important to the overall success of your marketing campaign. We strive to help you increase your investment by assisting with the graphics and production of your advertisement. Our in-house graphic designer can assist you in developing an eye-catching design that will capture the attention of your target audience.
CREATIVE TIPS
- Text should be brief - 7 to 8 words or less and typically one central message.
- Use short words for faster comprehension.
- Type should be clean and simple. Remember the boards are seen from a long distance.
- Line Thickness: Thin lines optically disappear from a distance.
- Bold Colors: text should contrast with the background and subtle colors don't get noticed.
- View design from 15 feet away. This illustrates viewing from the road.
- Show it to someone for 7 seconds: Did they get the message? Viewers have an average of 7-8 seconds to read your advertisement.
Web graphics are 72 dpi or lower and are not high enough resolution for large-scale printing. Some web sites offer high-resolution images for purchase to download. This is acceptable if the images are 300 dpi or larger.
PRODUCTION GUIDELINES
- TIFF, EPS, PDF, PSD (with layers)
- 300 DPI MINIMUM CMYK
- Allow for 6-inch bleed beyond final size
